Record Box Loft, Winter Wedding

Sydney and Graham had their winter wedding at the Record Box Loft, in Battle Creek, Michigan. Sydney prayed for snow, and the universe delivered, and it was magical.

Sydney’s day started with getting ready with all of their favorite people. Sydney wanted to do a grand reveal with her bridesmaids, and the reactions we’re so sweet.

Graham then got ready with all of his groomsmen. they all drank a beer and then it was time for sydney and Graham to do their first look.

WE had originally planned to do their first look outside, but the wind was insane and we all agreed to do it inside so sydney’s hair wasn’t ruined before the ceremony and all the group photos. Luckily, the record box loft is stunning inside and out, with lots of windows for good lighting. They also rented a trolly to transport their guests so after a moment inside we went on the trolly for their portraits and just wow.

Afterwards, Sydney surprised graham by having their dog sitter stop by with their pup, mishka! It was so cute and Mishka was so excited to see them, and for her humans to get married!

Their Ceremony started as the winter sky started to set. When you looked out the windows you could see the snow lit white by the street lights and nothing else. It was so romantic. Their ceremony was intentional and emotional.. They even asked 5 loved ones to be a part of their hand fasting ceremony.

After the ceremony though, we had nothing left to do except party. Well, Dinner and speeches. Which, keeping with the trends, the speeches were so heartfelt and emotional.

come dancing time, Sydney and Graham Hired the Blue water Kings Band for their music, and the energy live music has is unmatched. The dance floor was crazy! Eventually, sydney and Graham sneaked away to cut thier pie, and after we finally said the hair has lived it’s day; let’s go play in the snow!

It was maybe 10 degrees and very windy still. So I told them don’t stop moving, lets get as much variety as we can per pose, and the second the cold is too much, we will go inside.

WE lasted 8 minutes. in those 8 minutes we created art and you can literally see just how in love Sydney and Graham are.
